I already had a pair of these sandals. Such is my admiration of the comfort and water-happy nature of these sandals I wanted a reserve pair for when my current pair wear out, just in case they go out of production.

My husband wore out his traditional leather sandals and we found these as they look similar to the style he loves. Once they arrived we realised that they were more than just your basic sandal. The toe room is great as he has a wider foot and he said they don't cramp his feet at all. He loves the toe protector too as he's always in the garden or allotment. He found it tricky to get his feet into them at first but they quickly softened up and he slips his feet in easily now.

These are expensive but I wear them most days and they last about 2 years per pair when using them in salt water. They are just awesome sandals.

Very sturdy, high-quality, well-made sandals. Comfortable to wear right from the start and for long periods at a time, these sandals provide additional protection via the closed-toe front whilst still being sufficiently 'airy' in design to let your feet breathe in hot conditions. The materials used appear to be of high quality and waterproof so that you can walk through streams, puddles, or into the shallows of the sea when at the beach, without water damaging these sandals. The sole is particularly sturdy, offering excellent support and protection in all the right places including heels, foot arches, and toes for when walking long distances or across uneven terrain. I also found the undersole grips to be good in wet, slippery, and uneven underfoot conditions.
